About Brother Recon

Established in 2013, Brother Recon is a veteran-owned tactical lifestyle brand created by retired Master Gunnery Sergeant Christopher L. May, USMC (ret). The brand was born from a deeply personal mission: to honor the legacy of fallen warriors, beginning with Caleb Medley, who tragically lost his life in a military freefall parachuting accident in 2013.

The memorial honoring Caleb was completed and now resides at the Basic Reconnaissance Course, Camp Pendleton, California, serving as a lasting tribute to his courage and sacrifice.

Today, Brother Recon continues that mission by producing premium apparel, gear, and accessories inspired by the values of Marine Recon: courage, discipline, and brotherhood. Every product embodies the integrity, strength, and unity that define the Recon community.

We are more than a brand — we are a brotherhood. A portion of every purchase goes toward supporting veterans, active-duty Marines, and their families, keeping the spirit of sacrifice and service alive.

Join us in honoring the legacy, living the mission, and standing together as part of the Brother Recon community.
